Vamp is our foundation bitch here at Sedona. She was only able to bless us with one litter as she came to us at the age of 8.
A Stonebar Sebastian grandaughter, I was fortunate to acquire this exquisite bitch from Cecilia Barnett of Phantom Lake Kennels.
Vamp had not been shown since she was 3 years old, and after a little time to get acquainted, to our delight we won RWB at the 2003 PSBC summer Specialty under breeder judge Kalen Dumke at 8 years of age!
She then went on to acquire her International Championship before blessing us with a magnificent litter that will be the foundation of Sedona Borzoi for years to come.
Vamp blessed us with the Sedona Storm litter. Out of this one litter she gifted us with:
- 7 American Champions with 3 more close to finishing - 3 Canadian and Int'l Champions
- A wonderful male Cooper - 2007's #1 Breeder/Owner Handled Borzoi
- 2007's #4 Borzoi Breed - #5 Borzoi All Breed for 2007 - Cooper
- A top ranking bitch Lexi - #11 in 2006 finishing from the classes with 2 Group 1's
- One grandzoi so far "Tristan" fathered by Vamps son Calvin
We miss our beautiful girl but her legacy will live on at Sedona forever!
