We Welcome Kayo to Sedona Borzoi
Sedona Borzoi is now Tamara Carey, Jeff Kotz and Kayo Wakiyama!
After 11 years of the most wonderful friendship and Borzoi partnership I could have ever asked for, I have asked Kayo to join me as Sedona Borzoi. Every idea for a breeding, late night brainstorming, endless conversations and comradery about the future of Sedona Borzoi has been in partnership with Kayo. She never asked to create her own kennel name when we imported Vivian together, nor when we co-bred The Dream Litter. She is a "Dream" partner and I am honored to have her officially join Sedona Borzoi as my partner. Please congratulate Kayo and when you see a Sedona Borzoi dog out and about, know that it was our combined ideas and efforts that created them!
Kayo began years ago in Japan as a Shih Tzu breeder and had always dreamed of having a Borzoi. Once she settled in her Florida home on 5 acres and had the space for a Borzoi she reached out to me and acquired her first Sedona Borzoi - GCH Sedona Deja Debonnaire aka Quinn. The rest is history as Kayo devoted herself to learning all she could about the breed, including flying out to Sedona Borzoi for a week to learn how to groom them.

KAYO & QUINN
Kayo and Quinn BOS at the Royal Canine National Championship Show! They defeated over 26 Borzoi, 20 of those champion Borzoi at the Royal Canine National Championship show. The competition included several Borzoi that were Nationally ranked being shown by professional handlers and also those local Borzoi handled by breeder judges. It does not get more competitive than that! Kayo just stayed calm and let Quinnie do his thing. His exquisite movement speaks for itself.

Bon Bon is the second to finish their championship from the Literature litter. Congratulations to Kayo for doing such an outstanding job with this handsome fellow. From her exquisite grooming, to moving him like a dream, she has exceeded all our expectations! Thank you Kayo for a job well done!!!! Bon Bon finished with back to back majors AND an owner handled Group 2!
